How long do veneers last?

What is the lifespan and longevity of porcelain veneers and Lumineers®?

Written by south Florida cosmetic dentist Dr. Jeffrey Lissauer, serving Boynton Beach, Delray Beach and Palm Beach

Although we wish there is a simple answer to this question, how long veneers will last is actually difficult to predict and highly variable. Too many factors affect the durability of veneers, ranging from how well you clean your teeth to whether you grind your teeth. Regardless, you should do everything in your power to help maintain your veneers.

Generally speaking, veneers should last many years. Some patients’ veneers last five years while others’ veneers last a lifetime. Around five years is a realistic prediction.
