Dental bridge: Cost & prices

Differences in experience and quality make price comparisons challenging in dentistry

Written by the dentists at Lissauer & Eriks Dental, serving Boynton Beach, Delray Beach and Palm Beach

Many factors affect the price of dental work, especially dental bridges. In dentistry, like everything in life, quality ranges immensely. Some dentists take extensive training in cosmetic dentistry. Some only use the most researched and highest quality dental materials. Some offices only use the newest technology, like lasers and digital x-rays. Also, some lab technicians, who make dental bridges, have higher abilities and charge higher fees. Thus, the price range of a dental bridge is drastic. Depending on your dentist, the cost of a dental bridge ranges from $800 to $1500 per tooth. Please notice that a dental bridge is priced per tooth, so a three-tooth bridge would cost between $2,400 and $4,500 depending on the factors above, as well as many others.

At Lissauer Dental, we pride ourselves on only using the highest quality materials while still offering reasonable prices to better serve the south Florida community. With digital x-rays and lasers, we use the most advanced technologies in the dental field. We also use the dental laboratory that we feel is the best in the country. The goal of our office is to provide ideal dentistry at an affordable cost to help you achieve perfect dental health.

Why I wrote these articles on dental bridges:

In my office, bridges are an extremely common procedure to replace missing teeth. Do you remember when you were 15 years old and could not imagine losing a tooth? As we age, losing a tooth may unfortunately become a reality. Whenever a new patient comes to my office missing a tooth or several teeth, I explain the benefits of replacing them as soon as possible. The internet unfortunately offers insufficient information about this subject, and people delay seeing the dentist as a result. So, I decided to write these articles and provide extensive information about the advantages, disadvantages, types, costs, and indications of dental bridges and implants to replace missing teeth. I hope you enjoy the articles. If you have any further questions about bridges or implants or you would like to schedule a complimentary consultation, please feel free to contact us.
