Our office is quite unique in that we provide almost every possible dental service in one office:
- Jeffrey B Lissauer DMD provides cosmetic, family and implant dentistry.
- Robert Berlin DDS, our endodontist, specializes in root canals.
- Lee Hauer DDS is our board certified periodontist, who specializes in periodontal (gum) therapy and dental implant placement.
Our patients are very appreciative that they don’t need to travel to other offices for consultations or treatments from other dentists. Also, our team has been working together for many years to make our patients’ dental experience comfortable and rewarding.
Office Manager
Maryann
I started with Dr. Lissauer in 1983. When I first started working in our Delray Office, I worked as his chair side Dental Assistant for the first five years. I received my dental training at the University of Detroit Dental School. When I became pregnant with my son, I returned to work as our Receptionist/Office Manager. After working here for over 27 years, it has been my pleasure to meet such great patients and to learn so many wonderful things about their lives and their families. I look forward to relaxing at the beach and boating around islands.
Hygienists
Nancy
My name is Nancy and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist. I grew up in Ohio but have worked with Dr. Lissauer for almost 27 years. My goal is to welcome you warmly and treat you professionally. Seeing people on a regular basis over many years, I feel close to my patients and try to help them achieve their optimal dental health. I perform an oral cancer screening during each prophylaxis visit and demonstrate dental products that would be most beneficial. I am happy to be working with such a great staff. Many of us have worked together for a long time, so we naturally use a team approach in caring for your dental needs. When I am not at work, I enjoy my family and gardening and you just might find me running through the streets of Boynton Beach. I hope to welcome you to our office – see you then!
Lindy
Hi – My name is Lindy. I’m a Dental Hygienist, and I’ve had with the pleasure of working in this great office for 10 years. It’s a joy to work in a stimulating and professional environment here at Dr. Lissauer’s office. I truly enjoy helping people improve their dental health and getting to know many of the patients personally over the years. I love working in an atmosphere that keeps changing and advancing in technology. Our staff is warm and friendly, and we are proud of the dentistry that we provide. Our staff attends many hours of continuing education, a benefit both personally and professionally. I am married and have three beautiful girls Remi, Raegan and Ryah. Our family loves to travel, ride bikes, swim, play sports and enjoy each other.
Vickie
Vickie is a native Floridian and has been a part of the dental community since high school when she worked as a dental assistant. This experience led to her formal education and training at Palm Beach Community College as a Certified Dental Assistant. Immediately following this training, she completed the Dental Hygiene Program and became a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1978. With a special love for her work and the rapport she develops with her patients, Vickie is dedicated to helping people of all ages, the timid and the brave, and those with special needs to achieve and maintain their beautiful smile!
Maria
I grew up in Bayside, NY and graduated from SUNY-Farmingdale with a degree in dental hygiene. In the past, I worked for the Department of Defense providing dental care for active duty military and their families through outreach programs to local nursing homes and schools. I also worked several years in three different private dental practices in both NY and Georgia with a focus on restorative, cosmetic and preventative dental care. I moved to Florida and joined Dr. Lissauer’s staff in 2001 and still enjoy what I do because I enjoy working with people. Over time, you really get to know your patients, and providing them with quality care gives me a great sense of accomplishment. On a personal note, I have two sons that are now young men. In my free time, I exercise, read, and travel. My favorite and most cherished activity, next to working in Dr. Lissauer’s office, is to spend quality time with my friends and family.
Assistants
Adys
I joined Dr. Lissauer’s staff seven years ago and have been a chair-side assistant for twelve years. I really enjoy the interaction that I have with our patients and helping them with their dental needs. I am excited to assist with our new laser technology that we have been using in the office. My spare time is very busy keeping up with my family, my boy’s busy schedule, and playing with my adorable puppy, Jazmine.
Shelly
I joined Dr. Lissauer’s dental team in December of 2004. After three months, I began assisting Dr. Berlin with Endodontics. I enjoy assisting root canals as much as I enjoyed assisting general dentistry. I have been assisting for 24 years. I grew up in a small town in Maine and moved to Florida in 1983. I’ve been married for 20 years, and I have two children, ages 9 and 12. I enjoy spending my spare time with my friends and family.
Karen
Quality has evaporated from most professional offices, and quantity is the answer. My beliefs are quality. I have been working for our periodontist Dr. Hauer for two years, and enjoy everyday surrounding myself with Dr. Lissauer and his staff. No doubt all of their professional talents supersedes most. My experience is very strong in the surgical and implant sector of dentistry. I have ten years of assisting general dentistry under my belt, so to speak. I was born and educated in the United Kingdom. I spent many years training within the School of the Arts in dance and drama. I attended college in Europe, earning a City In Guilds in Child Psychology. I also attended Broward County Community College for an Associate of Science. Eventually, this was taking me towards the dental hygiene program, but I preferred assisting than the repetition of the duties of a dental hygienist. One has to wear many hats in this economy. I also am a Palm Beach County realtor, and I actually find time to teach acting at a local private school. I am a mother of two beautiful girls and a very fluffy puppy. My interests are: working out at the gym, skiing, photography and cooking healthy meals. “A healthy heart is a healthy mind”
Joni
I am originally from Massapequa, NY, and I moved to Florida with my parents due to their health in the late 70’s. I’m a certified dental assistant graduate from Palm Beach State College. I started working with Dr. Lissauer in 1983. I worked as a chair side assistant until 1989, and, at that time, Dr. Lissauer gave me away at my wedding. Working with Dr. Lissauer gives you the feeling of family, and that is why I believe his staff members have stayed with him for over 25 years. I’ve occasionally left the office to have children and be a stay-at-home mom, but I never lost contact. My children are grown now, and I have returned to do what I love the most. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children.
Receptionist
Erika
When I was 15 years old I was on a work study program from Atlantic High in Delray Beach and started helping at the front desk at the office. Dr. Lissauer afforded me the opportunity to take continuing education courses for my certification, and I soon became a certified full-time dental assistant. Over the years, I have been the office receptionist but my passion is to help assisting our patients. It is so rewarding to be part of such a great dental team. I spend my spare time with my son and family. I love to watch my son grow and play, and I’m always fascinated by his curiosity and his thirst for knowledge.

“The staff of our office is truly exceptional. Maryann, our wonderful receptionist and office manager has been working with me for over 27 years. We have four fantastic hygienists, Nancy, Maria, Vickie and Lindy, with Nancy also treating our patients for 27 years. As for assistants, Erika and Adys are both gifted with amazing people skills and equally talented. Erika has been assisting and “receptioning” in my office for 17 years, having started in a work study program from Atlantic High School. Shelly and Karen are the extraordinary assistants to dentists Drs. Hauer and Berlin. If loyalty and genuine concern for the well-being of our patients is a guide, I feel that I have the best team in all of dentistry,” stated Dr. Lissauer.
